Literature Seminar: Modernism
This course approaches modernism as an aesthetic movement, tracing its nuances through the nineteenth century to various avant gardes of the first half of the twentieth century. While students read extensively from literary texts in multiple genres and view visual art, they also explore historical and philosophical contexts.
